Live Centrally and Close to Everything
Bjørn Fuglestad is 29 years old and a native from Funen. Bjørn is born and raised in Svendborg, but now “converted” to Western Jutland, where he lives in an apartment in Ringkøbing.
So how does that work?
Well, Bjørn originally holds a commercial degree and got his trade certificate in the furniture business, where he worked until the age of 26. At this point he optained his dream of combining his hobby and his work. Bjørn had been skiing since he was five years old and over the years he had become quite the skiing enthusiast. He wanted new challenges and therfore took a job at Højmark Rejser. In this position he worked as a destination manager for two winters at respectively Lofer and Marie Alm. The third winter he advanced to the position of manager of the logistics department and for all destinations in Austria.
- It was a great time with many good experiences and wonderful colleagues, Bjørn remembers. In the spring of 2007 he returned home to Højmark Rejser, perfectly prepared for his current job of selling holidays to the bureau’s many customers.
To Bjørn, settling in Ringkøbing was a natural choice. - I wanted to live close to my work, because I have tried travelling to and from work every day, which in my opinion is a waste of time.
- When I chose Ringkøbing instead of Holstebro or Herning, it was because I am use to being close to the nature and really appreciate it. I knew I would find the beauty of the nature in Western Jutland. Bjørn has chosen to live in an apartment which is centrally located, one minute from the fjord, two minutes from centre of town and five minutes from his workplace.
