After-School Institution

Turbohuset, a part of the combined institution Højmark Børnehus. About 45 children are housed in the school buildings

Daycare

Six daycares that all have different joint activities, for instance a visit to Børnehuset and the sports centre.

Kindergarten

Højmark Børnehus is a combined daycare institution with about 104 children. They co-operate closely with Børnehus and School.

Sports Centre

Two sports centres connected to our village hall. Equipped with pit and mirrors and well-suited for gymnastics. The other one contains playing courts.

Shops

We have a fine LokalBrugs (grocery store) offering good service and our local electrician Højmark El carries all the electric appliances you can wish for. Also, out on Nørbyvej you find Økoladen, a fine countryside shop carrying organic products.
We have our flower shop Blomsteriet, located on Kars bækvej. Here you can buy fine bouquets for any celebration.
Lastly, we have Vestjysk Andel, where farmers and other hobby folks go to buy different products.

Societies and Clubs

We have our big Athletics Association HGF - Højmark Gym-nastikforening - with more than 330 active members. HGF has gymnastics, handball and badminton on the menu.

Other activities/projects

We have a common association project named Højmark Common Assembly. We would like to raise around one million Kroner for creating a stamping ground with games and playing facilities and a place for open fire and barbe-cues, etc.
