Fjord, ocean, beach, reserves, moors, streams, plantations...
In Western Jutland you find a tremendous richness of nature, including almost anything except from high mountains. And we know for a fact that many newcomers have chosen Western Jutland because of the unbelievable scope and diversity of outdoor experiences.
One area to mention is the one around Ringkøbing Fjord, for its incredible beauty and diversity.
On the eastern side you find real moor landscapes, forests, meadows and streams, while the western side is marked by the harsh environment of the North Sea. Wind, salt and sand make for hard living conditions for animals and vegetation - and yet, some manage to adapt.
An evening walk by the harbour usually brings good experiences, so don’t miss out on the many free pleasures that the nature of this area holds.
They are practically lying right outside your door just waiting for you!
